We know, it sounds obvious. But trust us – not everybody gets it. Still, we shouldn’t be too critical. We’ve had plenty of time to get to grips with the idea. 70 years, in fact.
In that time we’ve built our business on this one simple truth. And it’s made us the world’s leading loyalty and relationship agency.

Our global presence includes offices in countries across the EMEA region, as well as Asia-Pacific and the Americas. Our corporate headquarters are located in Minneapolis.
The EMEA operation is headquartered in London with offices in Northampton and Isleworth, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Kuwait City. We also have a team of loyalty specialists working on the ground in Doha and Riyadh, while our licensees and partners have offices in Barcelona, Lisbon, Istanbul, Madrid and Torino.
History
With 70 years’ experience and more than 1,250 successful programmes under our belts, we know loyalty and relationship marketing – from back to front.
It all started in 1938 when, with just $55 of borrowed capital, Curtis L. Carlson pioneered the idea of consumer loyalty programmes in the US with his Gold Bond Stamp Company. And the concept really caught on.
In December 2009, Carlson Marketing was acquired by Groupe Aeroplan; the world’s leading provider of loyalty services. As a result, our sister companies now include:
